Remember Shipping Charges When Shopping.
When shopping online, remember that shipping charges have a way of really adding up. It can actually often make more sense to buy more - than to buy less because your shipping charges for a bigger box will work out to be less. Only buy what you need, but try to do as step 1 says and Plan Ahead - and remember those shipping charges really add up. You need to add about ten dollars to any order to consider shipping and/or taxes.
Learn to Double Dip.
Now the phrase “double dip” has a very negative connotation - so we’d better explain ourselves. When shopping online, this is the time to use that credit card that gives you airline miles so you can see your parents for the holidays. Or gives you points for something else you’d like to get this coming year. Learn to always use the double dipping philosophy, making every purchase count twice.
